Affiliations and Accreditations

St. Michael's International School (SMIS) is recognised by the Hyogo Prefectural Authority.

The school is jointly accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and is the only school in the region awarded this mark of distinction.

Additionally, SMIS is a member of the Japan Council of International Schools (JCIS) , the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and the Council of British International Schools.
