Early Years Coordinator
Year One Class Teacher
Specialist teacher for PE and Music to teach across the primary age range


Teachers

Applications are sought from enthusiastic and dynamic candidates who are highly motivated and who demonstrate creative and innovative teaching practices. We accept applications from candidates in Japan, the UK and overseas.

Applicants should hold a UK teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status or an international equivalent with at least 2 year's teaching experience in a UK or British International School. Applicants with IPC and/or IEYC experience will be at an advantage.

  • An up to date CV.
  • Contact details of two professional referees, one of whom should be your current Head of School.
  • Letter of application outlining your educational philosophy, teaching strengths, professional goals and why you want to join the team at St. Michael's International School.

Recruitment Process:

  • Each applicant will receive an email response confirming their application. 
  • Closing date for applications is Sunday 28th January 2018 
  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email by 1st February 2018 
  • Selection activities followed by Skype interviews will take place by 10th February 2018.

Teaching Assistants
 
Thank you for your interest in joining the team at St. Michael’s International School.  There are currently no Teaching Assistant vacancies available.
When vacancies do arise they are advertised on our website and on GaijinPot.
 
We accept applications from all nationalities. Applicants for teacher assistant positions should be fluent English speakers. A high level of written English is required.  Previous experience of working with primary aged children will be an advantage.
